Guess what everyone, I'm a senior! This means I'll be graduating college soon with a degree in art education. I can't wait to be a real person!

I know I haven't updated my blog very much in the past.... oh, year, but! I really want to try again. I know I always say that, but you can't blame a girl for trying, right?

Hey everyone! It feels good to be back! Maybe that long hiatus was just what I needed. I feel passionate and excited to blog again, and I'm especially excited to get dressed up and take pictures! Its amazing what wearing a work uniform for about 3 months straight can do to a girl! Anyway, I started my junior year of college at Keystone College. I transferred from Temple to Keystone for a variety of reasons. Mainly, the cost of living in Philadelphia was too much, I changed my major, and I have bigger plans for myself back home in Scranton, (plans that involve living a life with Dean), than I do out in Philadelphia. Keystone is a big change from Temple, I am still adjusting. It is a beautiful campus and also has a pretty good art program but I do miss Tyler, and I do miss my friends greatly. I guess there are pros and cons to both campuses! I didn't leave Tyler because I didn't like it! That is one thing everyone should know! If you're considering studying art at Tyler, go for it! It is a great school if you have the money to live/eat in Philly! My budget in Philly didn't allow for much fun activities or much shopping so I'm much happier home getting to work, shop, and go to school! I'm also excited about my major! Art education! It just stucks I have to commute! GAS, WHY U SO EXPENSIVE???

But the absolute WORST part about all of this is that I don't get to see Dean. There is probably room in our schedules for about one weekend visit a month. The good part about this is, in December, Dean is moving up here to Scranton! I mean, we are putting our relationship through a lot of stress for the next three months, and it is very hard, but its for the best and it is working towards a long, happy, and no longer stressful relationship. As we keep calling this semester, it is the "beginning of the end!" I'm happy we have so much to look forward to! Once Dean lives up here, I'm pretty certain that will be opening a new, lengthy chapter in both of our lives. Which is a great thing!

Okay, that is enough catching up and school-talk. TIME FOR FUN! Here are a few pictures from the last roll of film I had developed! Summer fun in the sun! Although, I am SO glad summer has ended! I'm a fall gorl~

Speaking of summer ending, I FINALLY broke out the thick socks, leggings and Docs today! It felt so good. It was finally cold enough to bundle up! I can't wait for the cold weather and crisp windy days. I get so inspired with my outfits!

I also decided to cut my bangs today! Lately, I've been doing a weird sort of swoop that I've just been accepting and not really liking; I got so tired of it! I cut my bangs in "Bettie" style. It is a rounded/v shape. I LOVE them! I think I might want to exaggerate them a little more... what do you think? I think these bangs will stay for a while! I missed my bangs!

By the way, like my Elvis photo printed on lacquered wood? My friends got it for me, it is one of my prized possessions.

My makeup routine has also been getting much more intense... I should make a post about it! I guess you could say I'm the ~CAT EYE QU33N~

I also have a fun DIY I did today, I think I'll put that in another post so I don't overwhelm you with such a long post! Hope everyone is doing well! Talk to you soon!~

Hello, hello! :) Here's an outfit post! Yay! A little different than something I would usually wear, but I've just been itching to wear my American Apparel chiffon maxi skirt lately. Also, a lot of my clothes need to be washed! Oops! I'll get to that this week.

This is what I had on today, but when I went out later on I ended up wearing my vest with the outfit... (see below!)

I also bought a couple of things recently! I bought a dress on sale from Target from the Alice Temperley collection... $11... what a steal! I love it. I really need some more formal dresses! I love this for fall too! It would look great with some black leggings, thick socks, boots, and a pretty long necklace! Oh yeah, and the new season Cinco of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! ~M| F4V0R|T3~

I also got some new makeup today since I desperately need it! Since I am broke, I can't really afford my usual MAC and Urban Decay makeup regimen (not until I'm working again at least, trust me) so I got drugstore makeup! (Which I love all the same!) I got a new pink blush from CoverGirl, the classic, and cheapest, pink and green tube Maybelline mascara, elf face power for a wopping $1, and a CoverGirl red lipliner (which I needed SO bad!) I can't wait to try it all out this week! I'm thinking about doing my makeup a little more dramatic on my eyes. I've been looking at people who do the cat-eye who also use black/grey eyeshadow on the end or crease of their eye. I love the way this looks but I hope it won't come across as too gothic! Ah! I have time this week to try that out. ;) I also think it is funny that I can't leave the house without my cat-eye. I've been doing it for almost two years and I can't see myself stopping anytime soon. Some days I wish I had it tattooed on my face, LOL!!

I just got back from eating sushi with my sister! This girl right here can't get enough of dat shrimp tempura. Mmmmmm!!!
Also, I will (hopefully) get my etsy store up and running this week! Hope you guys will be interested in purchasing some awesome items! I should have some vintage clothes for sale as well as some fun little things for around the house. And coming later this summer when I have the help of my sister, a seasoned chemist (LOL), SOAP! Yay! I also just learned what OOAK means. So I might overuse it just for fun. I also like the abbreviation because it reminds me of this anime face: OAO'' Anyway...

I have my transfer orientation for my new college this week so I want to dress way cool to impress everyone, I'm sure I'll take plenty of pictures that day. I can't believe I'm a junior in college and changing my major. A little late, huh? Oh! And I'm visiting Dean this week, I'm so excited! EEEEE~

Bye!

Hi guys! It has been a long time since I've really posted any outfits or anything interesting. Now that classes are over and I just have to worry about a couple of critiques and a final, I have way more time to dress nice and to take pictures! Plus, the weather has been great, although my sinuses and allergies don't think so. Here is an outfit I wore Monday... It was over 80 degrees that day and I got a pretty bad sunburn on my shoulders! (Which is shaping up to be a lovely farmer's tan by now!)

May 10th I get to go back home to Scranton which means I will probably be posting outfits every couple days or so since I can set up my tripod!

I'm also planning to setting up an Etsy store this summer! I tried the Etsy thing a while ago for my artwork but I lost interest very quickly. I think I'm going to sell some DIY's, thrift finds, as well as crocheted pieces, quilts, and other cute little things I can make! I'm really over ~art~ right now and I just want to have some fun making useful stuff! I'll let you all know when I set that up!

By the way, have you checked out my twitter?

Back in Philly! School has been kind of busy... also Dean is around again for me to waste all of my time with and, of course, my gorl Justine. (...So sorry for the lack of updates!)

Here are some quick pictures I took today of my outfit... it was pretty informal. This is a thrifted dress that I got over the summer. I really love it! I don't know why I don't wear it more often!

Also, my Justine gave me this great denim shirt she had that she didn't want anymore... I can't wait to wear it!
I'm also obsessed with wanting to make my own oversized bows, and a felt bone clip (like Pebbles from the Flintstones) to wear!

Introduction

INTRODUCTION

Hello readers! My name is Lauren Padavano. I am a 19 year old sophomore at Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I am a photography major and hope to one day join the fashion photography field. I've always been interested in fashion and photography as well as art. Here, in this blog, I hope to document my outfits as well as outfits and photo-shoots of some of my fashionable friends. I will also probably just post pictures of general interest and other things going on in my life. (Probably my huge knick-knack collection, food I make and my great boyfriend. Three things I love!) I've been trying to start a blog for ages now but hopefully I can make this one the real deal! I promise! I hope you enjoy everything I post! Don't be afraid to follow or ask questions!
