Hey everyone! It feels good to be back! Maybe that long hiatus was just what I needed. I feel passionate and excited to blog again, and I'm especially excited to get dressed up and take pictures! Its amazing what wearing a work uniform for about 3 months straight can do to a girl! Anyway, I started my junior year of college at Keystone College. I transferred from Temple to Keystone for a variety of reasons. Mainly, the cost of living in Philadelphia was too much, I changed my major, and I have bigger plans for myself back home in Scranton, (plans that involve living a life with Dean), than I do out in Philadelphia. Keystone is a big change from Temple, I am still adjusting. It is a beautiful campus and also has a pretty good art program but I do miss Tyler, and I do miss my friends greatly. I guess there are pros and cons to both campuses! I didn't leave Tyler because I didn't like it! That is one thing everyone should know! If you're considering studying art at Tyler, go for it! It is a great school if you have the money to live/eat in Philly! My budget in Philly didn't allow for much fun activities or much shopping so I'm much happier home getting to work, shop, and go to school! I'm also excited about my major! Art education! It just stucks I have to commute! GAS, WHY U SO EXPENSIVE???

But the absolute WORST part about all of this is that I don't get to see Dean. There is probably room in our schedules for about one weekend visit a month. The good part about this is, in December, Dean is moving up here to Scranton! I mean, we are putting our relationship through a lot of stress for the next three months, and it is very hard, but its for the best and it is working towards a long, happy, and no longer stressful relationship. As we keep calling this semester, it is the "beginning of the end!" I'm happy we have so much to look forward to! Once Dean lives up here, I'm pretty certain that will be opening a new, lengthy chapter in both of our lives. Which is a great thing!

Okay, that is enough catching up and school-talk. TIME FOR FUN! Here are a few pictures from the last roll of film I had developed! Summer fun in the sun! Although, I am SO glad summer has ended! I'm a fall gorl~

Speaking of summer ending, I FINALLY broke out the thick socks, leggings and Docs today! It felt so good. It was finally cold enough to bundle up! I can't wait for the cold weather and crisp windy days. I get so inspired with my outfits!

I also decided to cut my bangs today! Lately, I've been doing a weird sort of swoop that I've just been accepting and not really liking; I got so tired of it! I cut my bangs in "Bettie" style. It is a rounded/v shape. I LOVE them! I think I might want to exaggerate them a little more... what do you think? I think these bangs will stay for a while! I missed my bangs!

By the way, like my Elvis photo printed on lacquered wood? My friends got it for me, it is one of my prized possessions.

My makeup routine has also been getting much more intense... I should make a post about it! I guess you could say I'm the ~CAT EYE QU33N~

I also have a fun DIY I did today, I think I'll put that in another post so I don't overwhelm you with such a long post! Hope everyone is doing well! Talk to you soon!~

Hey ya'll!! How is everyone doing? Great, I hope! I'm doing pretty well over here back in SCRANTON! It feels so good to be back home. I have a lot of really fun things planned this summer that will hopefully happen soon! These include seeing Girl Talk with my sister, going to Wildwood NJ with Dean, the renaissance faire, possibly Otakon if our finances permit and tons of coffee, pizza and thrifting with my old high school buddies! I really can't wait. I usually have a pretty lame summer but I am determined to have a better time this year. I will miss Dean so much since he will still be living in Philly for the rest of the year, but at least he will move closer in December! I just have to wait until then! I'll visit him/he will visit me in the meantime!

I'm currently looking for a new job, today I had an interview at FYE! I also have another interview at a different FYE on Friday! (It seems that FYE is the only place that wants to hire me!) (And assuming not everyone who reads this blog is familiar, FYE is just a CD/DVD store. They also sell a lot of anime and Justine Bieber things, haha.) Hopefully someone will call me back soon! I think my interview went pretty well today. Im crossing my fingers! Anyway, here is what I wore today!

(BTW, forgive the mess that is my room at the moment. I just moved back home from school yesterday and I'm still trying to get my life back in order!)

Denim Jacket - GAP
Shirt - American Apparel
Skirt - American Apparel
Belt - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Urban Outfitters
Pin - Found in my house

A very 'American' look today, huh?

I also met my good friend from high school Nick for a little Salvation Army fun today! Even though it was 50% off all tickets today, I still only ended up getting two skirts since I'm REALLY low on money. Regardless they are great skirts! One needs to be hemmed, and the other just needs to be fixed up slightly which I will have plenty of time to do tomorrow. Then later in the day I went to the Shoppes at Montage with my sister! I had a gift card leftover from Christmas that my dad gave me, so I bought some really nice sandals from DSW. I wanted something comfortable, slip resistant, nothing between my toes (thongless), sturdy and of course nice looking! I'm really tired of spending money on shoes that aren't comfortable/versatile enough for everyday errands! I'm really glad I got the ones I did. They are not typically something I would go for since they are quite modest, but I think they are a great choice for the hot weather and running around doing fun stuff! I will totally post pictures of my skirts and my shoes tomorrow!

Since school is over and I'm jobless currently, I will have a lot of time to devote to this blog. Stay tuned!

By the way, I'm going to make HOMEMADE SOAP over the summer with my sister! How cool is that?! I'll keep you posted!

Do you like my Curacao shirt? Thanks, Grandma!!!! <3

Hi guys! It has been a long time since I've really posted any outfits or anything interesting. Now that classes are over and I just have to worry about a couple of critiques and a final, I have way more time to dress nice and to take pictures! Plus, the weather has been great, although my sinuses and allergies don't think so. Here is an outfit I wore Monday... It was over 80 degrees that day and I got a pretty bad sunburn on my shoulders! (Which is shaping up to be a lovely farmer's tan by now!)

(My lovely boyfriend, Dean!)

May 10th I get to go back home to Scranton which means I will probably be posting outfits every couple days or so since I can set up my tripod!

I'm also planning to setting up an Etsy store this summer! I tried the Etsy thing a while ago for my artwork but I lost interest very quickly. I think I'm going to sell some DIY's, thrift finds, as well as crocheted pieces, quilts, and other cute little things I can make! I'm really over ~art~ right now and I just want to have some fun making useful stuff! I'll let you all know when I set that up!

By the way, have you checked out my twitter?

I'm sorry I haven't been posting any outfits lately... I've just been in a really bad fashion rut due to this weird weather. Not quite winter, not quite spring. I did get a lot of really great things recently! I did a bit of shopping for the spring and summer months but have yet to wear anything.

I went for sushi with Dean and his friends Friday night! The weather permitted me to wear my new American Apparel skirt that I am totally in love with. I wish my hair was decent enough that day for me to take some outfit pictures. But on the bright side, the shrimp tempura roll I had was awesome!

I'm really into denim and big bustly midlength skirts this season. Its that Americana / Rockabilly look that I've always loved coming out! Plenty of stripes, polka dots and leopard print to go around. And, of course, I got my self a pair of Bass Saddle shoes!

I'm really excited to wear everything this summer! I just hope the weather changes soon so I can enjoy my new clothes!

I'm also really excited to go to Cracker Barrel and get french toast with Dean over the summer.

Dean is probably also moving to Scranton at the end of the Summer to be with me! I can't wait! A huge step in our relationship but I think we are ready. :)
