Wow... two days in a row and I'm posting? That is a new record! Like I said previously, I'm forcing myself to post almost everyday from now on. More bad weather today, but I didn't want to sit inside and mope like I usually do so I decided to get dressed up and walk around Target. I bought a cute shirt while I was there... I need new shirts, I realized today that my whole wardrobe is just different skirts and cardigans but no SHIRTS! Weird! I'm going to fix this within the next few weeks. Here is my outfit from today! (Remember that skirt I talked about a couple posts back that I got from the Salvation Army and hemmed? I wore it today! And I love it!)

When I got dressed today I planned on wearing my T.U.K. pin-up wedges that I got on sale for $15 from their website (BARGIN), but after putting them on I thought they were a little TOO dressed up for a walk around Target. I'll wear those shoes eventually. Sighhhhh. They are so adorable but I can never find the right outfit or public setting for them. I decided to wear my creepers instead when I went out today. Fun, but still reasonable enough so I don't look like I'm crazy.

I also got some seeds and a pot today to plant some flowers! I will probably plant them today or maybe tomorrow afternoon. They are California Orange Poppies... so beautiful! Apparently, they are really easy to grow, too. (GOOD!) I can't wait to see them fully grown!

Also, this next picture is for Emma! (My boyfriends sister) I guess I don't smile enough on my blog so here ya go! I don't intentionally NOT smile, I'm usually just alone in my room when I take my pictures and don't even think of it! Oops! I'll try to smile more! ;) Heh heh...

Have a good day!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in like a week... I've been too lazy to take pictures of my outfits. I swore to myself I would try harder though! Still no job, so I don't really have a good reason as to why I haven't been posting. I've been reading about DIY wedding tips and the beloved CWC Chris-chan most of the week, so, no, nothing going on here. No more excuses!! Anyway, here's an outfit from sometime last week that I never posted! (Mostly because the image quality SUCKS!)

Shirt - American Apparel
Skirt - Thrifted American Apparel (From consignment shop)
Belt - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - DSW "BareTraps"

And here is what I wore today! The weather this week has been really awful so I haven't really worn anything to spectacular. I wanted something comfortable for the rain, yet still fun today since I went out to eat with my mom and sister. I decided to break out the creepers! I always wear my creepers in the rain since it keeps me about two inches out of the puddles. Enough small talk, on with the pictures! OK!!

Shoes - T.U.K. Creepers

By the way, I painted my nails! I love this Revlon color I bought in a bargain bin at Target. It is called "Make Mine Melon" the consistency was a little soupy but it is okay, I love the color! I also did some awesome white polka-dots! I took the idea from one of Gem Fatale's Tuesday tips! (Click her name for a link to her AWESOME blog!) I used one of my sewing straight-pins and stuck the sharp end in a pencil eraser for support... then you just dip and stick into the nail polish! Quick, fun, easy and flawless results! (A lot of waiting around for polish to dry... your nails need to be completely dry before putting the dots on!!)

See you soon! ...I promise!

TEENAGE GOO GOO MUCK

Been spending a lot of time cooking dinner and thinking about sewing dresses! Also, I didn't realize my red lipstick I was wearing today almost totally wore off onto my coffee cup until I looked at these pictures.
