Guess what everyone, I'm a senior! This means I'll be graduating college soon with a degree in art education. I can't wait to be a real person!
I know I haven't updated my blog very much in the past.... oh, year, but! I really want to try again. I know I always say that, but you can't blame a girl for trying, right?

Hey everyone! It feels good to be back! Maybe that long hiatus was just what I needed. I feel passionate and excited to blog again, and I'm especially excited to get dressed up and take pictures! Its amazing what wearing a work uniform for about 3 months straight can do to a girl! Anyway, I started my junior year of college at Keystone College. I transferred from Temple to Keystone for a variety of reasons. Mainly, the cost of living in Philadelphia was too much, I changed my major, and I have bigger plans for myself back home in Scranton, (plans that involve living a life with Dean), than I do out in Philadelphia. Keystone is a big change from Temple, I am still adjusting. It is a beautiful campus and also has a pretty good art program but I do miss Tyler, and I do miss my friends greatly. I guess there are pros and cons to both campuses! I didn't leave Tyler because I didn't like it! That is one thing everyone should know! If you're considering studying art at Tyler, go for it! It is a great school if you have the money to live/eat in Philly! My budget in Philly didn't allow for much fun activities or much shopping so I'm much happier home getting to work, shop, and go to school! I'm also excited about my major! Art education! It just stucks I have to commute! GAS, WHY U SO EXPENSIVE???
But the absolute WORST part about all of this is that I don't get to see Dean. There is probably room in our schedules for about one weekend visit a month. The good part about this is, in December, Dean is moving up here to Scranton! I mean, we are putting our relationship through a lot of stress for the next three months, and it is very hard, but its for the best and it is working towards a long, happy, and no longer stressful relationship. As we keep calling this semester, it is the "beginning of the end!" I'm happy we have so much to look forward to! Once Dean lives up here, I'm pretty certain that will be opening a new, lengthy chapter in both of our lives. Which is a great thing!
Okay, that is enough catching up and school-talk. TIME FOR FUN! Here are a few pictures from the last roll of film I had developed! Summer fun in the sun! Although, I am SO glad summer has ended! I'm a fall gorl~
Speaking of summer ending, I FINALLY broke out the thick socks, leggings and Docs today! It felt so good. It was finally cold enough to bundle up! I can't wait for the cold weather and crisp windy days. I get so inspired with my outfits!
I also decided to cut my bangs today! Lately, I've been doing a weird sort of swoop that I've just been accepting and not really liking; I got so tired of it! I cut my bangs in "Bettie" style. It is a rounded/v shape. I LOVE them! I think I might want to exaggerate them a little more... what do you think? I think these bangs will stay for a while! I missed my bangs!

By the way, like my Elvis photo printed on lacquered wood? My friends got it for me, it is one of my prized possessions.
My makeup routine has also been getting much more intense... I should make a post about it! I guess you could say I'm the ~CAT EYE QU33N~
I also have a fun DIY I did today, I think I'll put that in another post so I don't overwhelm you with such a long post! Hope everyone is doing well! Talk to you soon!~

OH BOY.......
WOW!
Okay, so my blog has been gone for a really long time... not just because I haven't been posting but because I haven't been able to LOG IN in God knows how long! Google took away my rights to my blog because my email I was using as a log in was for Temple. I guess Temple won't let you use their email to use other Google websites anymore besides gmail. It took me forever to fix this problem! I was so worried I would never be able to log in again but I finally fixed it! I'm so glad to be back because I have a lot of great outfits to show you! I am so sorry about all of this, I swear, I'll be posting again soon!
I missed this so, so much!!
School started so I have tons of great new outfits to show you!

Oh boy! You all probably forgot about me by now! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in about a month (or two?!) I've been really busy with working and doing summer things. (I've been to so many day trips this summer including Wild Wood, NJ and the waterpark here in Scranton!) Also, since I've been working, and since it has been brutally hot lately, I haven't been dressing up as much or taking pictures of my outfits when I do dress up! Also, I feel like I've been in a bit of a rut because I just am so totally done with summer clothes. Bring on FALL! I've saved all my money from work this summer and I'm going to go on a huge shopping spree in 2 weeks with Dean! Im so excited! I'll probably make a haul video for you all to see! I'm just counting down the days until I can go fall shopping and WEAR my new fall clothes.
I've been really inspired by not only 1950's rockabilly fashion, but the working women of the 1940's. Here's some recent inspiration I've had via Hel-looks and Google!
I can't wait for the fall so I can change it up a bit!
I'm not sure what else to say for now... my life has been pretty boring lately!
I'll leave you with a little Django for today!
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!

Okay, so, you're all going to laugh at me and declare me the biggest loser you've ever met but, well, I guess those are my true colors... but want to know what I just finished making?
MY SKIRT FOR THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE!!!
That's right, friends. I've been working on my costume for the upcoming renaissance faire in August. I went to the renaissance faire twice yeeeears ago, but I've been wanting to go back for a while and I'm finally going to make it this year! AND, I decided what better way to celebrate my return than to have a kick-ass homemade costume? Uh, no better way! DUH!
I'm going for a bit of an elven, woodland, wench type of vibe. What do you think? The skirt is made from flannel.. and totally handmade! By me! Next on my list is a bodice/corset, chemise, and a hooded cape! And of course to find myself some elf ears. So that's right, you can all get on line now to order a sweet wench skirt from yours truly. GET YOUR TICKETS READY.
And now you know the real me. No, I'm not as cool as I seem online!
Here is a picture of me from the other day to make up for this nerdy post. At least I'm a HOT NERD!
Cut my bangs a bit... ya like??
Should have some outfit posts later in the week! Since I haven't been dressing up as much, my wardrobe seems less exciting somehow. Weird!
