MY SKIRT FOR THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE!!!

That's right, friends. I've been working on my costume for the upcoming renaissance faire in August. I went to the renaissance faire twice yeeeears ago, but I've been wanting to go back for a while and I'm finally going to make it this year! AND, I decided what better way to celebrate my return than to have a kick-ass homemade costume? Uh, no better way! DUH!

I'm going for a bit of an elven, woodland, wench type of vibe. What do you think? The skirt is made from flannel.. and totally handmade! By me! Next on my list is a bodice/corset, chemise, and a hooded cape! And of course to find myself some elf ears. So that's right, you can all get on line now to order a sweet wench skirt from yours truly. Hi everyone! Sorry I've been so busy lately with my new job... I haven't really been wearing much besides my uniform for work... BUMMER. I am just itching so hard to get some money. I really want to go shopping for fall already! I'm so obsessed with sweaters and boots lately but its been about 95 degrees everyday lately! Here are a few things I'm DYING to get for the fall months. Mainly comfortable sweaters and sweet new boots. A girl can never have too many shoes.... er, Doc Martens? You know what I mean!


















By the way, I never realized how much I hate/LOVE Sandra Lee. She is a housewife wreck. Her recipes are hysterical AND disgusting!

One thing I'm good at-- TACOS!

I'm obsessed with making delicious blackened chicken tacos. Recipe courtesy of my boyfriend's brain, but I elaborated on it! The cilantro really makes them fresh!







I'll share the recipe (if my boyfriend lets me... it is becoming a secret recipe) when/if I write it down! Whenever I make them I don't use any measurements for the spices, I just eyeball it, but that's not a good way to write down a recipe. WHATEVER!

Oy, I've had a rough week (or two?). Who knows. A lot of personal issues arose the past week and I took some time away from my blog to address them. Anyway, everything is okay now... I hope! On the flip side, I got a job! At Subway..... again....! It is at a new location but I'm already a Subway pro so I'm fitting in just fine. I'm just happy to get some money heading my way! What is on my wish list, you ask? Well, I'll tell ya!
